a yellow mini pen for mellow yellow Monday
My husband is a collector of old fountain pens. Recently he has been cataloging his collection and I have been photographing them for him. Yesterday he showed me this lovely yellow 'mini' pen. as you can see by the measuring grid above it is quite mini. with its cap on , shown above, it measures less than 4 inches in length. This is a favourite pen of mine!

Our quasi winter
the temperatures are frigid ,
and at times we have snow, although there is not much laying in the fields and meadows
The long yelloed grasses decorate the hillside slopes and meadows.
Feed is provided for the farm animals that are outside that do not find grazing in the fields. Red Dogwood border edges of fields .
Have a great day everyone.

soul within for one single impression
Likened to my Soul:
Furrowed trunk
Weathered and aged with years
The essence of its strength within anchored in life,
Nourished by its roots of its surrounding life experiences.
Its branches seeking light and substance to nourish its spirit
Remaining firm and upright guided by its sprit within
Be brave and endure the wintering and weathering of its
survival
endurance is the key.
This post was created in response to the word, 'soul, which is this week's prompt at One Single Impression. For more poetry on this theme please visit the hosting site
