Rain Clouds for Skywatch Friday

The rain has stopped somewhat now and the sun is starting to find its way through the clouds in places, but for the better part of the day we have been experiencing cloudy skies and rain.
.
My appreciative thanks to Tom, Sandy, Imax and Klaus for hosting Sky Watch Friday .

I love the composition, the colors, the clouds. Whatever that is in the front, the colored bush, makes the photo. As do the bits of bright blue sky at the end of the river...

This shot almost looks like a painting.

This would make a fantastic oil painting! Come see my simple little shot over at my Photologue. :D

ooh - that's beautiful. The texture in the clouds and the ground, with the contrast of colors - very nicely captured.

Your picture is like a watercolour.
You could not have composed it better.

A very pretty landscape that looks like either an oil or even a watercolour painting for a postcard!

I love your photo (and it has nothing to do with the fact that I have a photo very, very similar which I'm glad I didn't post this week;) Beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful photo, like a Shishkin painting. Oh to have a stream of clear water like that in the dryest state in the dryesrt continent! I'd give my eye teeth for it.
Adorable autumnal shots below as well.

My thought exactly - it looks like a painting. I love that little spot of blue peeking through the clouds.

Despite the rainclouds, that is an awesome shot. It could be a painting, and would make a good painting.
