This is a beautiful walking trail that I

sometimes take on my morning walks. Within this huge stand of old Pines and Cedars there are often Chickadees in the high branches that accompany me as I walk along, listening to their cheerful naming song.
"chickadee dee dee dee".
Part of this walking trail borders along

a river and one day I saw two young fawn on the opposite shore. They paused in their browsing and watched when they saw me taking their picture.

Light and shade under trees is a delight. You may have noticed I love it.
I love the light in all these photos. The path through the trees and the two fawns are my favourites - beautiful!
As you said, always nice to have a view of another's world... I love the shot of the two fawns. A rare catch indeed!
There's a new meme starting up from the guys who brought you Sky Watch Friday called "That's My World Tuesday" that might interest you. Check 'em out if you like at http://showyourworld.blogspot.com/
First TMW Tuesday is tomorrow!
This is what I love to see. And I don't care if it's color or b/w. Your pictures are always beautiful.
What a wonderful walk and I love it in black and white.
OMG! What a beautiful place to walk!! All your photos are so lovely. Those two fawns are amazing...the one looks like his head is resting on the back of the other...it just makes them look like such chums...like they are posing for you. How wonderful!
I have never joined the monochrome Monday meme, but I sure have enjoyed some of the photos. Love yours you have here.
OMG that deer photo is the sweetest. Love their faces.
What a good idea .. I felt as if I were there with you ...

With Black & White, you kept only the essential. I love those birds on the branch, they remind me vintage greetings cards. So lovely.
What a fantastic walk!
This virtual walk through a wondeland of greyscale was superb. Outstanding.
The contrasting light and shadows in the first photo work very well.
To think that we once looked at all photos in black and white and thought that was wonderful! Now I'm too spoiled by color and miss it even in wonderful shots like these! The deer are precious! It does set your imagination to work putting in the color that is missing! In my mind I can "paint" it as a summer day or a fall day :-) Hmmmm...
I came back for another look - really enjoyable viewing. Thank you.
Such a relaxing trail, so amazing in every detail, I'd love to walk through this path in the mornings!
Kisses from Nydia.
